When one player manually fights a battle, and that player is on a team, the player fighting can choose to give control of their units to the other player(s) (the allies). ![]() In Total Warhammer there can be two things that occur when a manual battle is fought. Some games have thought of ways to address this issue that are similar. This down time period is where one player is fighting a battle and the other player is either waiting or watching. When playing coop/allied at the start with another player, when one player starts manual combat with anything not involving the other player, there is this period of down time. One main problem Age of wonders 3 multiplayer has had however is when fighting occurs. ![]() ![]() Playing with your friends is important, especially in a game like this where you could have some crazy experiences/stories! Giving multiplayer love can also help a game’s longevity, and a multiplayer scene can keep a game active/going for years to come.įor some background, I’ve played lots of turn based strategy games and I even recently replayed Age of wonders 3 with some friends in anticipation for the launch of 4. I think it’s super important and can drive players that might otherwise not touch a given game, into actually picking up said game. There are so many awesome games that are released in the current age, but a lot of them don’t get the proper love to coop play or multiplayer play alike. Hello, I'm pretty stoked for Age of wonders 4, but I had some concerns, specifically with multiplayer. ![]()
